Our Story

Built for the table, and the people around it.

Brooke Murphy and Randi Ellis co-founders of Montana Mahj Tile House
Brooke Murphy & Randi Ellis · Co-Founders

Montana Mahj started with a simple idea: bring people back to the table.

Between the two of us, mahjong started as curiosity and turned into a reason to put our phones down and show up in person. The strategy, the rhythm, the laughter at the table: it was the kind of connection we'd been missing.

We built Montana Mahj Tile House to give Billings that same experience. An elevated, welcoming space where strangers become friends, every seat at the table matters, and the only thing you need to bring is yourself.
